The early winds of change blew gently. I clung and strengthened my resolve. Another gust made me tremble, yet still, I did not move. Gale force winds now bring the impending fall I’ve been resisting. There is beauty in letting go gracefully.
Rather than cling to what is not working, today I choose to gently let go. Even though I don’t yet know where I’m landing, spirit will give me a soft place to fall.

Thank you for this beautiful meditation on the morning that I have just "let go" of a business model that I have lived with for 10 years and I'm creating and embracing a new one beginning today. My mantra for months has been "trust and let go". Sometimes much easier to say than to believe. As I ebb and flow with this change and the tears flow I feel the release. Then I giggle as I feel the yoke being lifted from my shoulders with the impending new freedom that this change is bringing. I remind myself to trust and know that I'm supported by the universe. Your meditation is simply a confirmation of this on this day of new beginnings. Love the universal connection. :) Sus

Congratulations, Susie! Or should I say happy re-birth day?
This pretty leaf I found resting on the soft grass gave me pause. Why do we always think of falling as something to be feared? But now your metaphor provides a clue. If we are carrying a burdensome yoke, surely the weight of it is influencing us towards negative thinking. A heavy weight will cause one to plummet fast and hard. Yet observe the beauty of autumnal leaves falling. They DANCE and FLOAT gently down. No tragedy there. Just a natural letting go and flowing with life's transition.
All the best for you sweetheart! It's going to be a spectacular "fall" season for you!
